Notes and WIP pages for media I want to cover for this site. The most "completed" sections are on the top of this page, while those with little work are at the bottom.

Legendary Hit-man, Kunioka [2021, Japan]
Legendary Hit-man, Kunioka is a 2021 Japanese action mockumentary. While working on the script for his movie Baby Assassins, director Yugo Sakamoto stumbles upon a hitman network known as the Kansai Hitman Association and applies to interview a hitman to be able to use as a reference for his script. Through his application, he meets freelance hitman Masayuki Kunioka, known as the strongest hitman in Kyoto. As Kunioka is being followed and documented by Sakamoto, he accidentally kills the wrong target and is hunted down by his client's hitmen and the victim's close companions. The film follows Kunioka's day-to-day life in the hitman business and his affairs with the people he accidentally wronged.

Hard Days is a 2023 Japanese film. The film stars Junichi Okada as police detective Yuji Kudo, who accidentally runs over and kills a civilian on the way to visit his mother. This film is a Japanese adaptation of the 2014 Korean film A Hard Day.
WN: HOLY NUTS THIS MOVIE IS GETTING ANOTHER FOREIGN REMAKE. This is literally the fourth one its' gotten and the third Asian one. This movie isn't coming out until May 2023, but once it hits streaming, I'm going to get it over with and make the page for it. It's really fun looking at the gun variation between adaptations of this movie lol
WN - 3/8/2023: - Apparently some Indian actor and his production company bought the rights to a Hindi remake in 2020... wonder how that's doing. I'll work on that one too if it ever comes out
Escape from Mogadishu [2021, South Korea]
Metro Manila [2013, United Kingdom]
The Violence Action [2022, Japan]
WN: FUCK THIS MOVIE. The editing makes Bohemian Rhapsody look modest, and the fact that it's a movie about hired killers AND the yakuza means that THERE ARE A LOT OF GUNS. Lots of guns AND cocaine-fueled editing is NEVER fun to skim through.

Sten Mk V
(Forbidden) Siren [2003, Japan]
WN: Obtuse, confusing but interesting and kinda fun PS2 survival horror game. The characters are in a secluded rural village in Japan, which is why (most of) the guns are super old and Japanese.
Unknown Smith & Wesson revolver
Type 26 Revolver
Murata Type 22 rifle
Unknown Remington rifle
Type 99 Hand grenade
(Forbidden) Siren 2 [2006, Japan]
WN: The sequel to (Forbidden) Siren makes the game easier, and has a (mostly) new story with new characters. Some of the characters are JSDF, which means we get some really neat guns
Nambu Model 60
Howa Type 89
Howa Type 64
Light machine guns
Type 53 Flare Gun
Sadako 3D [2012, Japan]
WN: Even iconic Japanese horror movie series aren't safe from sequel saturation. And you thought Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Hellraiser were alone in this predicament...
