I am really confused about this rifle. I was looking for various information and came across a number of inaccuracies: on militaryfactory.com, military.wikia.org and guns.fandom.com the rifle is called as SS3, but on Wikipedia this name has a Pindad's 7.62 caliber battle rifle. Also on guns.fandom the rifle is called "Pindad SS Bullpup", and on military.wikia as "Pindad SS2000". --Pustelga7 (talk) 05:19, 7 January 2021 (EST)
- It's a misconception, since the actual Pindad SS3 is a battle rifle in 7.62 NATO, as described at their own website. According to info from Indomiliter.com (in Indonesian), the bullpup rifle is referred to as "SS Bullpup" by Pindad themself. The "SS3" name came from public misconception that it would be the next assault rifle introduced by Pindad, while actually it would not even leave the prototype stage.
- I would argue to rename this page into "Pindad SS Bullpup" due to this fact. --Farawayy14 (talk) 04:49, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
