Averill's "Henry" Rifle

I took a look at this film some time ago to find out that James Averill's Henry Rifle is in fact a Winchester "Yellow Boy" 1866 with the hand-guard removed, as evidenced with the right-side loading gate, and Averill referring the rifle as a "Winchester '66" when he purchases it at a store in Casper, Wyoming. -50AEDeagle

Rifles

This looks like an 1886 Winchester, the long barrel, large loading gate and the back(left of image) of the gate matches pretty well with an '86.

This is an 1866, don't why it was confusing.

This is a Rolling Block Carbine not a Trapdoor Carbine.
