Unidentified SMG

While the SMG looks Thompson-style, the space between the pistol grip and magazine is too large for Thompson, more similar to Ingram Model 6 in configuration without foregrip (although I don't think that Ingram SMG could appear in this movie as the creators of Foyle's War didn't use anachronistic guns). I think that it's just an optical illusion. In this picture the distance between the pistol grip and the magazine also seems too large:

Well, now I begin thinking that the SMG on this screenshot isn't a genuine Thompson. It looks strange. The trigger guard isn't connected with the magazine well, as it's on each and every Tommy gun. Greg-Z (talk) 15:59, 19 November 2015 (EST)
