Discussion

A customer just brought in an Automag V, I'm looking forward to trying it out. I'll let you guys know how it goes. - Gunmaster45

I forgot to inform how it went. Even after being repaired, the gun broke after three shots. The mag release broke and dropped the mag out and the sight screw hit me in the forehead, causing bleeding. Avoid this gun, it's too much bullet for the design, it doesn't hold together well. - Gunmaster45
- Ouch! I would say it's damn lucky the thing didn't blow up in your hand after hearing all that. :( Fortunately for me I never cared for .50AE much anyway. StanTheMan 03:07, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

How much does the 30 carbine pistol go for? I have a ton of carbine ammo and have been wanting a new pistol-S&Wshooter 17:32, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Last I checked about $600 and it's just not worth it according to what I've heard. you would be better off finding a pistol version of an M-1 carbine. Rockwolf66 19:53, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
But I already have 2 M1's (one's broken and the other is my grandfather's). Additionally, have you seen what a 30 carbine round would do to someone if you shot them at close range?-S&Wshooter 20:23, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

I have a pretty good idea as I've had one friend crippled by a bullet fragment from a full power MG to the knee and I've had another friend hit by a 7.62X39mm round fired from 800+m away. Frankly the .30 carbine round is a great PDW round but I prefer to fight with the largest caliber I can handle. Rockwolf66 21:04, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

It does more damage than a 30.06 at close ranges-S&Wshooter 00:07, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
