Nicole Kidman is an Australian actress who made her debut in the 1989 thriller Dead Calm. She then would gain acclaim with her roles in several films with her former husband Tom Cruise, including Days of Thunder, Eyes Wide Shut and Far and Away. She has received four Oscar nominations, including for the films Rabbit Hole, Lion, Moulin Rouge! as well as 2002's The Hours, a role for which she received the Academy Award for Best Actress.
