McMillan Firearms
About
McMillan Firearms is an American company specialized in making bolt-action sniper rifles. It was founded in 2007 by Ryan McMillan, and was acquired by Strategic Armory Corps, the parent company of ArmaLite, in 2013. Their products are for hunting, recreation shooting, and law enforcement. McMillan rifles are also widely used special forces units around the world, with one of their most famous users being US Navy SEAL Chris Kyle and Canadian snipers responsible for the longest recorded hit, such as Corporal Rob Furlong and Master Corporal Arron Perry, as well as an unnamed JTF2 sniper, all of which broke the world record. McMillan guns are mostly made in rifle calibers, but there are also .50 BMG models. The company is now an important player in the field of long-range precision shooting, with their products often compared to and competing against those of Remington Arms and Accuracy International.
