About
Accuracy International was established in 1978 by British Olympic shooting gold medallist Malcolm Cooper, Sarah Cooper, Martin Kay, and the designers of the weapons, Dave Walls and Dave Caig. The company specializes in sniper rifles. Their high-accuracy sniper rifles are in use with many military units and police departments all around the world.
The .338 Lapua Magnum round was developed as a joint venture between Accuracy International and the Finnish ammunition manufacturer Lapua.
