Layer Cake

Layer Cake is a 2004 British crime thriller, the directorial debut of Matthew Vaughn. It is based on the 2000 novel of the same name by J. J. Connolly, who also wrote the screenplay. Daniel Craig stars as a London-based cocaine dealer (who goes unnamed in the film, and is referred to as XXXX in the credits) that follows a strict personal code of professionalism. His attempts to retire from the drug trade are complicated when his boss gives him seemingly simple two tasks to complete before his retirement.

XXXX (Daniel Craig) plays with a Luger LP 08 from Gene's cabinet arsenal.

Type 67 Silenced Pistol
XXXX (Daniel Craig) takes Gene's Chinese Type 67 silenced pistol, later using it to carry out the hit on Jimmy Price (Kenneth Cranham). It turns out that this was the gun Jimmy gave Gene (Colm Meaney) in the 1970s to kill Crazy Larry with. The gun is fitted with green grips.
