Journey Southwest (Cesta na jihozapad) is a 1989 Czechoslovak Western movie directed by Zdenek Sirový and loosely based on short stories by Jack London. Teenage boy Ben (Jirí Strach) after the tragic death of his father lives in the camp of gold prospectors. Chett Adams (Jirí Schmitzer) who recently appears in the town wants to help the boy and uses the money he won to send Ben to school south-west (hence the title of the movie). But the journey for a better life becomes the hard school of life and makes Ben a grown man.
The following weapons were used in the film Journey Southwest (Cesta na jihozápad):
Revolvers
Colt Dragoon
"Grandfather" Jones (Milan Sandhaus) carries a Colt Dragoon revolver. The gun has a finger spur on trigger guard that is uncommon for genuine Colts; possibly this is a sign of European copy. Also the revolver has a rear sight that was used on carbine version (with detachable shoulder stocks) of Dragoon.
