In "Lazaretto" (S04E03) DC Endeavour Morse (Shaun Evans) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 10HB revolver when he is tasked with protecting criminal informant Terry Bakewell (Alex McSweeney) who undergoes treatment in hospital. DI Fred Thursday (Roger Allam) draws a same looking revolver during the assassination attempt on Terry Bakewell.

Pistols
Browning Hi-Power
In the climactic scene on Bramford Nuclear Power Plant in "Harvest" (S04E04) DI Fred Thursday (Roger Allam) takes a Browning Hi-Power from a guard and confronts Professor Donald Bagley (Michael Pennington) who is also armed with a Hi-Power.

The guard draws the pistol (strangely not from a holster but from a trowsers pocket) and hands it to Thursday.

M1911A1
In "Lazaretto" (S04E03) Thomas Fraser (uncredited), an assassin from Matthews gang, sent to kill informant Terry Bakewell in hospital, is armed with an M1911-style pistol, most likely an M1911A1.
World War II Colt M1911A1 - .45 ACP. This was an issued U.S. Army pistol with parkerized finish, thus the official designation of M1911A1
The assassin holds his pistol when escaping after unsuccessful attempt, pursued by Morse.
The pistol is seen when Fraser jumps into a car.
Submachine Guns
Sterling
In "Harvest" (S04E04) a security guard on Bramford Nuclear Power Plant carries a Sterling submachine gun.

Morse shows his documents to Sterling-wielding guard.
The guard refuses to allow Morse to pass on the nuclear power plant.
In the climactic scene Thursday and Morse convince the guard to let them pass, as the alarm at the nuclear power plant is real.

Double Barreled Shotgun
Dowsable Chattox (Sheila Hancock) and her grandson Seth Chattox (Chris Coghill) hold 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotguns in several scenes in "Harvest" (S04E04).
