The Brügger & Thomet USW-A1 (Universal Service Weapon) is a Swiss pistol featuring an integrated folding stock. It is intended to serve as a compact stocked sidearm for first responders. The weapon features a short top rail equipped with an Aimpoint NANO Micro Red Dot Sight, an underbarrel rail equipped with a B&T APL Advanced Pistol Light, and a threaded barrel that can accept the B&T Impuls-IIA Suppressor.
Aside from the USW-A1, B&T also produces USW conversion kits for other pistols:
- USW-G17: Glock pistols (9x19mm, .40 S&W and .357 SIG)
- USW-G20: Glock pistols (10mm Auto and .45 ACP)
- USW-320: SIG-Sauer P320
- USW-M17: SIG-Sauer M17
- USW-PPQ: Walther PPQ
