Strogov changes the magazine of his SVD Dragunov, despite reloading it being impossible normally, the reload animation is fully functional with the magazine disappearing/reappearing as Strogov changes it.
Strogov does the generic "chambering" animation for long guns that aren't bolt action rifles, which consistes of moving his hand down the top of the weapon, for the SVD this means he just vaguely motions over the scope instead of actually chambering a round.

The Mauser Karabiner 98k appears as a weapon that can be purchased/found in the WW2 levels, unlike previous games, the AI never uses Sniper Rifles, and even with the level editor, the bolt-action rifles and SVD are unusable by AI. (They can be given them but their rifle will glitch after the first shot rendering the AI unable to fire again.)
