Aidan Gillen


Aidan Gillen (born Aidan Murphy) is an Irish actor. Originally starting in Shakespearean theatre as a teenager, he rose to prominence in 1999 for portraying Stuart Alan Jones in the television series Queer as Folk and Tommy Carcetti in The Wire. His most prominent television role was as Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish from 2011 to 2017 in Game of Thrones, which earned him widespread recognition. In addition, he also portrayed Aberama Gold in series 4 and 5 of Peaky Blinders and currently portrays Milo Sunter in Mayor of Kingstown.
On film, Gillen is known for portraying the unnamed CIA agent in the (oft parodied) opening scene of The Dark Knight Rises, Janson in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials and its sequel, and Jack Blackwell in Those Who Wish Me Dead. In addition, he provided the voice, likeliness, and motion capture for Paul Serene in the video game Quantum Break.
