MP40

The MP40 is used by both German and Italian forces as well as by various POW's when they are disguised as German guards including Col. Joseph L. Ryan (Frank Sinatra), Maj. Eric Fincham (Trevor Howard), and Sgt. Bostick (Brad Dexter).

MP40 - 9mm

Sergeant Bostick (Brad Dexter) is armed with the MP40.

Beretta Model 38

Some of the German soldiers appear to be armed with Beretta Model 38/42 submachine guns. These weapons are also used by the POW's.

Numerous German officers including Colonel Gortz (John van Dreelen) carry the Luger P08. The pistol is seen in the hands of Col. Joseph L. Ryan (Frank Sinatra) and Maj. Eric Fincham (Trevor Howard) as well.
