Vabank is a 1981 Polish criminal comedy film directed by Juliusz Machulski, set in interwar Poland. This film tells the story of Henryk Kwinto (Jan Machulski), a legendary safe cracker. Kwinto make a plan to get revenge on a ruthless and criminal bank president Gustaw Kramer (Leonard Pietraszak) who is responsible for the death of Kwinto's old friend Tadeusz. The movie was followed by a sequel Vabank II.

The following weapons were used in the film Vabank:

Custom Nagant M1895

An unusual version of Nagant M1895 revolver is seen through the movie. While mostly looking like a standard Russian or Polish Nagant, it has a different shape of the front side of the frame, similar to the one used on target versions of Nagant, and a short ejector rod. The revolver appears to be a single movie prop, wielded by various characters and fitted with two different sound suppressors.

Nuta (Krzysztof Kiersznowski) holds a suppressed Nagant during the robbery of a jewelry store in the opening scene.

Krempitsch (Zdzislaw Kuzniar), Kramer's hired gun, appears in Kwinto's apartments, holding a suppressed Nagant.
A good view of the revolver. Note the same shape of the frame that is seen on Nuta's revolver but a different suppressor.

Nagant M1895

A standard Nagant M1895 is seen in the scene in theatre when it is hold by an actor on scene as part of theatre props.

Glisenti M1874

Jan Rożek (Henryk Bista), an old man who was deceived by Kramer, uses an old Italian Glisenti M1874 revolver to try to shoot the banker in his own cabinet.

Alkartasuna Ruby Pistol

Gustaw Kramer (Leonard Pietraszak) carries a Ruby pistol. Alkartasuna Ruby, one of numerous clones of original Star pistol, perfectly matches the screen gun.

1914 Mauser Pocket Pistol

In one scene Dunczyk (Witold Pyrkosz) gives Kwinto (Jan Machulski) a Mauser M1914 pocket pistol.

Trivia

Moks (Jacek Chmielnik) draws a suppressor and shows it to the manager of jevelry store: It's a suppressor. Do I need to add the revolver to it?.
