My bad, I'll back off. It's just that I'm doing a page for [[Forgotten Hope]], which has a Polish faction, so you piqued my interest. I made a page for the Wz.35 at rifle and Wz.23 grenade, and will be making one for the Wz.28 and Wz.30 soon enough. Duly noted, and sorry. [[User:Crackshot|Crackshot]]

7554

I know you are new here and are trying to contribute, so can I make a friendly suggestion? Before you do any more work on the 7554 page, Take a look at the way these pages are supposed to be formatted. Take a look at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. That is an example of a great page. Things in particular to notice, the size of the gun images, the size of the screenshots, the text that appears below both types of images and the descriptions of each gun. You're doing a great job and the best way to learn how this site works is trial and error. I cannot tell you how many times I've been chewed out by admins for doing stuff the wrong way. Take a look at that page and use it as a guide. :-) --Zackmann08 16:42, 29 February 2012 (CST)

Please change image size

Your image sizes are too big for the formatting of the page. Please change your screenshots from "700px" to "500px". Any real handgun images should be at "300px" and other weapons should be between "450px" or "500px". --Ben41 23:36, 29 February 2012 (CST)

Making an article

BEFORE you start a page, you need to have screenshots ready. Creating a page and uploading 3 images to it over the course of 2 days its not a working strategy. --Zackmann08 17:03, 12 March 2012 (CDT)

Screenshots I have only done very little time I put them on the page. Tomorrow I finish the article. :)

The article still doesn't meet the requirements to be on the site. And when you respond to someone, post on THEIR talk page, not on your own. --Zackmann08 17:56, 12 March 2012 (CDT)
I don't know if it doesn't meet requirements (have you SEEN some of the games here?), but it'd be nice if there were some caps of actual game play. It's still early. --Funkychinaman 18:03, 12 March 2012 (CDT)

Cold Zero

In the future, if you are creating pages for video games, it would be best to provide a brief summary at the top of the page explaining what the game is and on what format it was released. There has been a little bit of controversy because the two games you made pages for were unfamiliar and were mistaken for non-eligible projects. --Ben41 18:35, 13 March 2012 (CDT)

Talk pages

When you posted a comment on a page, make sure that you sign it. There is a button that you can click that will automatically add it or you can just type --~~~~ --Zackmann08 13:05, 19 March 2012 (CDT)

Adding guns

In order to add a gun to this site it MUST have appeared in a movie, tv show or video game. --Zackmann08 15:43, 20 March 2012 (CDT)

I know you are trying and I respect the fact that you don't speak English, but it is impossible to understand what you are saying. Changes in page format cannot be made without admin approval. If you have an idea, post it in the forum or in the Main Page Talk. --Zackmann08 16:34, 20 March 2012 (CDT)
If you are looking for stuff to work on, work on converting pages from the old list format to tables. You can start with the MP40 if you like. --Zackmann08 16:36, 20 March 2012 (CDT)
Administrators --Zackmann08 16:44, 20 March 2012 (CDT)

Again I would say, rather then focusing on changing the existing format that has been decided on by the admins, you can work on cleaning up pages. The MP40 page still has the occurrences in list format. You could work on converting it to the new table format. --Zackmann08 15:31, 21 March 2012 (CDT)

Adding Subject

Please put your changes in the Category talk:Gun section and then I'll put it in the main page. --Ben41 17:16, 20 March 2012 (CDT)

MG81

Please make the MG81 page in the correct format as established in other pages such as the MG34. If you want to make a suggestion for a change, please put this in the Discussion page. --Ben41 19:05, 21 March 2012 (CDT)

Categories

Rememeber to add categories to your pages. I went and added the categories on Rogue Warrior. Just a friendly reminder. No big deal.--Jcordell 23:18, 6 April 2012 (CDT)

Black bars

Can you crop out the black bars on your images? Thanks. --Funkychinaman 12:59, 15 April 2012 (CDT)

It's what the mods have been asking us to do. It'd be one thing if they weren't so big, but these bars are huge. --Funkychinaman 13:20, 15 April 2012 (CDT)
And why did you delete the Cold Zero page? --Funkychinaman 13:22, 15 April 2012 (CDT)
That's a good question. why?--Jcordell 17:00, 15 April 2012 (CDT)

AVA screenshot link

I'm afraid the link you posted on the Alliance of Valiant Arms talk page is a dead link. Might want to double-check it. Orca1 9904 05:53, 25 April 2012 (CDT)

I tried the link you posted on my talk page, it still does not work. Orca1 9904 06:01, 25 April 2012 (CDT)
That's strange, because whenever I try it I get a 404 error. Not sure what's going on. Orca1 9904 06:12, 25 April 2012 (CDT)

War Inc.

Thanks for the help with the page. The images are greatly appreciated. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 08:26, 3 May 2012 (CDT)

I remember seeing a silver pistol with a bunch of shit attached to it (classed as special weapon). Other than that, GREAT job with the page! - bozitojugg3rn4ut 06:20, 5 May 2012 (CDT)

Gun Specs

Hey man. I noticed you had created a couple of gun pages and added specs. The Specification format that you are using is different from the majority of pages. In the future, can you try to use the following code? Also, check out the Conversion Template for unit conversion. But good work man! --Zackmann08 11:48, 3 May 2012 (CDT)

==Specifications==
(???? - ????)

* '''Type:'''

* '''Caliber:'''

* '''Weight:''' lbs ( kg)

* '''Barrel length:''' in ( cm)

Sorry but I can't understand half of what you are saying. The template that we are currently using is the one that has been approved by the admins. If you want to change that you will need their approval. In the mean time, please use this format. --Zackmann08 14:36, 3 May 2012 (CDT)
Additionally, guns do not get a page unless they appear in something and we do not give separate entries to guns that are simply a different color. --Zackmann08 16:52, 3 May 2012 (CDT)

template

Yes, go ahead and use this for the gun page. --Ben41 15:29, 3 May 2012 (CDT)

Retracting approval for template

Sorry, but I am changing my mind about this template. Please do NOT use the new template at this time. I am going to discuss this with the other admins before the template will be again approved. --Ben41 19:13, 3 May 2012 (CDT)

MP40

When you convert a page from list format to table format (as you did with the MP40) part of the job is to put the entries in chronological order (least recent first) and to add all missing dates. Even if the date is not listed on the site, you need to track it down on the internet. This is part of the job. --Zackmann08 20:35, 6 May 2012 (CDT)

Bad. Look at the Thompson Submachine Gun. You need to include ALL the dates and put them in order. --Zackmann08 13:30, 7 May 2012 (CDT)
Do you understand what I mean? --Zackmann08 18:52, 8 May 2012 (CDT)

Forget it. Since you clearly weren't going to fix it, I went ahead and did it. --Zackmann08 19:10, 10 May 2012 (CDT)

Black Bars AGAIN

You were asked to crop your black bars from your screenshots previously (in April). You have just created a new page with all screenshots with huge black bars. Please fix this or your page will be deleted. MoviePropMaster2008 14:48, 20 May 2012 (CDT)

Max Payne 3

I know on the PS3 version if you pause the game you can press a button (forget which) to dismiss the pause menu and then manually rotate the camera to look at a still of the action. Should let you get some great shots if it's on the PC version too. Evil Tim 00:59, 13 June 2012 (CDT)

There is no such thing. On the PC enters the Pause menu.--Mateogala 03:31, 13 June 2012 (CDT)

Just as a note: I already went through that page and fixed a few IDs you put back. The Desert Eagle is a hybrid with a Mark VII barrel and a Mark XIX slide and the G6 Commando is a G36 with the furnishings altered so it looks a bit like an FX-05; the ejection port is in completely the wrong place for it to actually be one. Evil Tim 02:21, 14 June 2012 (CDT)

Why? Why? WHY?!

So you told DanTheViking that he should not remove your images when he adds new pics to the Max Payne 3 page, yet you remove ALL of Mazryonh's screencaps on the GRAW 2 page, thus replacing the text he wrote with some generic bullshit?! I am gonna ask you nicely now: PLEASE ADD THE IMAGES BACK. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 05:16, 20 June 2012 (CDT)

Hmm, I don't really understand what you're saying. I don't mind if you add a million screencaps just don't remove the old images. The image captions contain useful stuff. As for the console-only weapons; just because you cannot add screenshot you should not remove them. A dude might come one day with a capture card and he can finish the page. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 07:24, 20 June 2012 (CDT)
Mateogala, your screenshots are still there. You can add your images, but do NOT remove the ones already there. --Ben41 17:34, 20 June 2012 (CDT)

GR:FS

Okay, here is the deal: I put a LOT of effort to the GRFS page, ever since the first trailer. The last thing the page needs is adding images where you have obviously HACKED the magazine capacity. Makes the site/page look bad. What graphical settings are you using? Looks medium graphics to me. I am waiting for my my video card. When I get it I will upload some true HD shots. Also, the page looks stupid if there are only images of the shooting range. I am planning to add images from MP, story, co-op, and Guerrilla. Not to mention that every caption says "FN FNP-45 Tactical in game." ? How about you leave the page for ME to finish? Can we make a deal? - bozitojugg3rn4ut 10:40, 2 July 2012 (CDT)

WTF?! I dont need screenshots of the game. I have the game I can take screenshot myself. --bozitojugg3rn4ut 10:56, 2 July 2012 (CDT)
These images are not even from the game. And why would anyone want to upload 8 images of a floating pistol when there is a limit of 10 image per weapon. The problem is that you are looking at this from the wrong perspective: The purpose of imfdb is not to make a list of every weapon in a film or game. The purpose is to point out the inaccuracies the developers made. Like that the Five-seveN holds 18 bullets in a 30-round magazine, or that the C-Mag only holds 75 instead of 100, or smaller mistakes like that the guy pulls the charging handle of the ACR while he could hit the bolt catch release button. Of course one has to know stuff about weapons to find these things. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 11:19, 2 July 2012 (CDT)
Please realize that Ghost Recon Network IS NOT a video game. It is a tool. You can create weapons, but you cannot use them. It is like pimp my gun. Even if it was a game, it runs in a web browser, and those are not allowed either. Be aware of that the mods will delete that page. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 11:57, 2 July 2012 (CDT)

Did you read the first sentence in that video? GRN is a service for GRFS players. It is not a game. It is like Call of Duty ELITE. A social network for GR players. Like facebook with guns. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 12:11, 2 July 2012 (CDT)

Heroes & Generals

If this game hasn't been released yet, where did you get all the screenshots? --Funkychinaman 06:28, 22 August 2012 (CDT)

That's what I figured. You should probably note that on the page. Thanks. --Funkychinaman 06:36, 22 August 2012 (CDT)
