The following guns were seen in the miniseries The Stand based on Stephen king's epic novel.

M60

The M60 machine gun can be seen mounted on various U.S. Army vehicles.

M16A1

The M16A1 can be seen carried by several characters, mainly U.S. soldiers. The Utah Army National Guard assisted in the filming of the mini-series which would explain the older style M-16's. In 1993 (when it was filmed) many of the National Guard units were still waiting for the M16A2 model to be issued. Also carried by Stu Redman (Gary Sinise).

M16 rifle

One of Flagg's men appears to be carrying an original M16. Note the three pronged flash supressor and no forward bolt assist.

The original M16 with a 20-round magazine, adopted in large numbers by the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. This has the original 3-prong flash hider. It would later be replaced by the upgraded M16A1 - 5.56x45mm

H&K 94

The H&K 94 can be seen in the car used by Lloyd Henreid (Miguel Ferrer) and Poke (Richard Lineback) before the botched gas station robbery, but was not used. Also seen in the crowd in Las Vegas near the end of episode four.

H&K MP5

The H&K MP5 can be seen carried by Flagg's men. It appears that they are carrying the older "slimline" forearm versions. It is used by Bobby Terry (Sam Raimi) to kill Judge Farris (Ossie Davis). The MP5 carried by Bobby Terry (Sam Raimi) appears to be a cross between a MP5A3 and an MP5K in some shots or Sam Raimi was filmed with two different models. Possibly it is a continuity error.

Uzi

The IMI Uzi is used by Lloyd Henreid (Miguel Ferrer) during the botched robbery in episode one.

M1911A1

The M1911A1 is used by the U.S. military. Once again, the Utah Army National Guard assisted in filming. Like the M16A2, the Beretta 92 had evidently not been issued yet to the unit that helped in the filming.

Desert Eagle

The IMI Desert Eagle is carried by Andrew "Poke" Freeman (Richard Lineback) during the botched robbery in Episode One.

Glock 19

When Stu Redman (Gary Sinise) escapes the Vermont Plague Center he takes a Glock 19 from the dead Dr. Dietz (Sherman Howard) who tried to kill him with it.

But Dr. Dietz (Sherman Howard) wasn't dead yet. Okay now he is.

SIG-Sauer P226

The SIG-Sauer P226 is used by one of the Arizona state troopers during Lloyd Henreid's (Miguel Ferrer) botched robbery in Episode One.

A factory black (K-Kote) SIG-Sauer P226 pistol chambered in 9x19mm. This is a real movie gun and has appeared in several motion pictures.

Beretta 92

The Beretta 92 is used by another Arizona state trooper during Lloyd Henreid's (Miguel Ferrer) botched robbery.

Smith & Wesson Model 4506

A Smith & Wesson 4506 is used by a deputy sheriff who arrests Lloyd Henried (Miguel Ferrer) at the end of the botched robbery.

Behind Larry Underwood on the stairs is the very dead Monster Shouter (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar).

Smith & Wesson Model 29

Judge Farris (Ossie Davis) tries to defend himself with a Smith & Wesson Model 29 (using a terrible grip), before he is killed by Flagg's men. Harold Lauder (Corin Nemec) also uses a Model 29 to kill himself.

Smith & Wesson Model 15

A Smith & Wesson Model 15 is used by murderous redneck Ray Booth (Patrick Kilpatrick) in Shoyo, Arkansas, while attempting to kill Nick Andros (Rob Lowe).

Smith & Wesson Model 64

Lloyd Henreid (Miguel Ferrer) shoots and kills Glen Bateman (Ray Walston) with a Smith & Wesson Model 64 that has a stainless steel 3" barrel. Notice that the sights are "fixed" and that the ejector rod is not protected by a lug like on the Model 66. It is unknown if the revolver is actually the Model 64 in .38 special or the Model 65 in .357 Magnum. Both calibers have the same size bullet (.357 inch) so the size of the bore is not helpful. With no screencap showing the model number on the side of the barrel, I'm going to assume it's a Model 64.

Smith & Wesson Model 28 Highway Patrolman

A Smith & Wesson Model 28 is carried by Nick Andros (Rob Lowe). He gets it from the sheriff in Arkansas who takes him in after he is attacked in the first episode by Ray Booth (Patrick Kilpatrick) and his cronies.

With the sheriff now dead from the Super Flu (along with many others), Nick Andros (Rob Lowe) decides to free the prisoners, all of whom are sick. He chooses to have some insurance with him in the form of a Smith & Wesson Model 28. He's a humanitarian but he's evidently not soft headed.

Ruger Redhawk

Carried by Larry Underwood (Adam Storke) when he is in the Lincoln Tunnel.

Another shot of the grips. Those are the older style wooden grips that Ruger put on the Redhawk during it's early production years. This is from a scene after the Lincoln Tunnel sequence.

Remington Model 7600

Crazy Julie Lawry (Shawnee Smith) uses a 7600 to drive Nick Andros (Rob Lowe) and Tom Cullen (Bill Fagerbake) out of town after Nick tells her that she isn't welcomed to join them. The model she is using actually appears to be the older Remington 760 going off the shape of the front action/grip. In addition (Shawnee Smith) can be seen working the slide action which obviously can't be shown with screencaps.

Unidentifed Double Barrel Shotgun

Used by storekeeper during the botched robbery in episode one. Never can get a good look at it though it appears to be a "coach" shotgun.

Unknown Hunting Rifles

Two Boulder Free Zone guards are seen armed with a pair of scoped hunting rifles.(Note one of the guards was Stephen King in a cameo role.)
