The Fast and the Furious is a 2001 action film starring Vin Diesel as Dom Torreto, a street racer who is suspected to be the head of a crew of hijackers. Paul Walker co-stars as Brian O'Conner, an undercover police officer who has to make a decision on whether to expose Torreto's deeds. Directed by Rob Cohen, the film's success would spawn a franchise.
