Rifles used by the SEALs in the actual event
According to a comment posted on Matt Bissonette's website, the SEALs who took part in the op used plain old HK416s rather than sniper rifles. I'd consider that a reliable source. Is it worth pointing out on the page? Spartan198 (talk) 23:14, 12 May 2020 (EDT)
Not an SR-25
This isn't an SR-25.
It's way too short (KAC makes carbine versions, but they're not this short) and appears to be a 5.56 judging by the mag size. Spartan198 (talk) 03:46, 27 June 2020 (EDT)
It’s an HK416 with a 16.5” barrel, which is what the SEALs actually used in the real operation. You can tell by the white safety setting, the rail and the shape of the magazine well.--GunGenius1 (talk) 23:24, 26 July 2022 (EDT)
