Beretta 92FS
Used by Detective Sammy Bryant, Detective Daniel "Sal" Salinger, Detective Nate Moretta, Officer Dewey, Detective Russell Clarke, and a number of other officers. This weapon is on the LAPD approved carry list. Also, used by at least one of the LASO deputys in episode 4.
Heckler & Koch USP
A Hispanic gang member uses a two tone Heckler & Koch to shoot a non-gang affiliated black kid. One of the LASD deputys in episode 4 also had a USP. It would be the .45 ACP version, as that is one of the authorized weapons by the Sheriff's Department.
Smith & Wesson 4566
Used by Officer John Cooper and Detective Lydia Adams. This weapon is on the LAPD approved carry list. Cooper's gun is equipped with adjustable sights, while Adams' gun has Novack sights.
Unknown revolver
Used by another Hispanic gang member to shoot the same black kid.
Remington 870
Used by several officers, once seen equipped with tactical lights in episode 1. This is the standard shotgun for all LAPD personnel. Detective Clarke notably uses one loaded with beanbag ammo in episode 2.
Glock 22
Used by Officer Ben Sherman. This weapon is standard issue to all LAPD probationary officers. Upon completion of probation, they may choose to switch to another weapon on the approved carry list.
Kimber TLE Custom II
Used by Officer Chickie Brown. This weapon, fitted with a Surefire 310R weaponlight, is the standard sidearm for LAPD SWAT (Officer Brown is trying to become the first female SWAT officer).
Smith & Wesson 6906
This is Detective Adams' off duty gun. She gives it to the witness she is protecting in episode 7.
- You can tell this is not her S&W 4566 that she carries on duty because the slide on her off duty gun is smaller than that on her duty gun.
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
Detective Adams keeps this in a safe in her home. She uses it to shoot the gang members trying to kill a witness in her home in episode 7.
This looked more like a Winchester 1300 to me.
- It's not. It has a Mossberg magazine cap.
