Sniper: Legacy is the fifth installment in the Sniper film series. The 2014 DTV sequel marks the return of Tom Berenger as Master Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Beckett, who comes out of hiding to assist his son, Gunnery Sgt. Brandon Beckett (Chad Michael Collins, who returns from 2011's Sniper: Reloaded) in tracking down a renegade American sniper. The film's cast includes Mercedes Mason and Dennis Haysbert.
The following weapons were used in the film Sniper: Legacy:
Sniper Rifles
Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention
The Cheytac M-200 Intervention rifle is seen in the film used by Gunnery Sgt. Brandon Beckett (Chad Michael Collins) and Bidwell (Dominic Mafham).
Steyr HS .50-M1
A Steyr HS .50-M1 long-range rifle is used in a remote operated platform.
Accuracy International AX338
An Accuracy International AX338 appears to be the rifle used by Reese (Alex Roe).
Steyr SSG 08
Simpson also appears to be armed with a Steyr SSG 08 fitted with a Harris bipod.
SVD
What appears to be a Dragunov-type sniper rifle is used by an enemy sniper. It's possible that this is a commercial Izhmash Tiger.
Howa 1500 Varmint
A Howa 1500 Varmint appears to be the rifle carried by Master Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Beckett (Tom Berenger) and later is seen in the hands of Brandon. It's identified in the film as a "Remington .308". A different variant of the rifle also is used by Sanaa.
Rifles
Gilboa Series Rifles
Several of the rifles in the film that resemble the M4A1 appear to be hybrid rifles built in part from the "Gilboa" series of rifles manufactured by Silver Shadow, an authorized Israeli weapon manufacturer. These rifles are likely the same ones that were seen in the 2014 film Jarhead 2: Field of Fire (which was also helmed by Sniper: Legacy's director Don Michael Paul).
Gilboa "Commando"
The "Commando" model is the weapon of choice for most of the allied soldiers.
Gilboa "Shorty"
Some of the soldiers carry a rifle with an even shorter barrel which appear to be to built up from Gilboa's "Shorty" model.
CAR-15
A flashback to Sniper: Reloaded shows AR-15 Carbines carried by Sgt. Brandon Beckett (Chad Michael Collins) as well as the other Marines in the Congo.
AK-47
Some enemy fighters appear to be armed with AK-47 rifles.
AKM
One of the soldiers appears to be armed with AKM with plastic stock and handguard from AK-74M
Machine Guns
PK
A PK machine gun is used by enemy forces.
Handguns
EKOL Jackal Dual
What appears to be a Beretta 92FS is seen wielded by Brandon Beckett and Daniel Simpson (Doug Allen). However, upon closer inspection it appears that this pistol is actually an EKOL Jackal Dual blank fire replica, identified by the fire selector located between the takedown latch and slide stop.
SIG-Sauer P229R
After losing her Glock pistol, Sanaa pulls out what appears to be a SIG-Sauer P229R.
Zoraki 917 (Glock clone)
What appears to be a Glock pistol is carried by Sanaa (Mercedes Mason). Upon closer inspection, the pistol actually appears to be a Zoraki 917, a blank-firing only Glock clone that is only available in Europe, where the film was produced.
Zoraki 925
An enemy commander uses a pistol that appears to be the blank firing Zoraki 925. This weapon is widespread in Eastern European countries because of the gun ownership laws.
Other
M203 (Airsoft)
The launcher mounted underneath several of the soldiers' rifles appears to be an airsoft replica of the M203. It can be identified as an airsoft replica by the rail mounting system. 12" barrel versions are fitted to M16s, while 9" barrel versions are used on the carbines. These appear to the same ones used in the 2014 film Jarhead 2: Field of Fire.
RPG-7
Enemy fighters are seen using the RPG-7.
