Zvezda sherifa (Sheriff's star; Russian: Звезда шерифа) is a 1992 Ukrainian detective. Based on the story of Sidney Sheldon's "Don Vinton". Random collision doctor-psychoanalyst Judd Stevens with mafiosi DeMarco - the core of the plot of the film. DeMarco's wife, Anna, goes to the clinic Stevens, but he can not understand the vague hints of what her problem. A four murders terrified the city for their brutality and lack of obvious motive, can be associated with anything...

Corrupt policeman Angeli (Anatoliy Kotenyov) carries Makarov PM as their weapons.
One of the killers sent by DeMarco, has silenced Makarov PM.

One man of DeMarco, sent to kill Judd, has Colt M1911A1. In the final battle in the incinerator, Judd Stevens (Sergei Martynov) kills one of the bandits and take his Colt.

DeMarco (Aleksandr Martynov) uses at the end of the movie an unknown revolver (he previously took one of his subordinates, before killing him). It is more reminiscent of one of the models S&W.
