Ricochet is a 1991 thriller starring Denzel Washington as Nick Styles, a former LAPD cop who became an ambitious city attorney after apprehending a notorious criminal (John Lithgow) in an incident happened to be caught on videotape. Styles then finds his life being secretly taken apart by the criminal after he escapes from prison. The film was directed by Russell Mulcahy (Highlander) and cast included Ice-T and Kevin Pollak.
The following weapons were used in the film Ricochet (1991):
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 15
In the carnival scene which takes place in 1984, LAPD Officer (later Lieutenant and Assistant District Attorney) Nick Styles (Denzel Washington) draws a Smith & Wesson Model 15 .38 revolver on Earl Talbot Blake (John Lithgow), who had just murdered several drug dealers and jumped out a window at Styles' feet.
Smith & Wesson Model 19
At his parole hearing, Blake kills a parole member and then takes a guard's Smith & Wesson Model 19.
Colt Official Police
When he thinks his children are threatened, Styles points a Colt Official Police revolver at a suspected assailant.
Pistols
Beretta 950 Jetfire
After Nick Styles (Denzel Washington) puts his revolver down as ordered to by Blake (John Lithgow), he quickly pulls out a .25 Beretta 950 Jetfire pistol out of his athletic supporter and shoots Blake.
Beretta 92F
Detective Larry Doyle (Kevin Pollak) chases Kim down holding a Beretta 92F 9mm pistol. After Doyle gets shot, he gives Styles his Beretta, and Styles empties a whole magazine at Blake, but misses.
Colt M1911A1
In a scene where it shows Nick Styles' last bust as an LAPD officer, he is seen loading and cocking a .45 Colt M1911A1.
Colt Double Eagle
When Styles (Denzel Washington) visits Odessa (Ice-T), one of Odessa's boys pulls a stainless steel Colt Double Eagle on Styles.
Heckler & Koch P7M13
At the end of the film, Blake uses a Heckler & Koch P7M13 when confronting his partner Kim (Josh Evans) who is tied to the towers.
SIG-Sauer P230
One of Odessa's men also holds a SIG-Sauer P230 on Nick.
Browning Hi-Power
Another one of Odessa's men holds a Browning Hi-Power on Nick.
Shotguns
Ithaca 37 "Stakeout"
The shotgun that Earl Talbot Blake (John Lithgow) uses during the carnival scene is, as Nick Styles states, "an Ithaca 37 12 gauge sawed off shotgun with a 5 pound slide.". It is a "stakeout" stainless steel-plated Ithaca 37 similar to the one Arnold Schwarzenegger uses in the film Kindergarten Cop.
Ithaca 37
The guards at the prison that Blake escapes from carry the Ithaca 37 shotgun.
Other
Pen Gun
At his parole hearing, Blake pulls a concealed .22 pen gun and kills a parole board member.
