The following weapons appear in the video game Hitman 2: Silent Assassin:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Handguns
AMT Hardballer
Dual wield only AMT Hardballers are referred as the 'Silverballers'. They are the starting pistol for any mission in the game.
AMT Hardballer suppressed variant
Dual wield suppressed Silverballers are unlocked after completing any mission with a Silent Assassin rating.
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is the most common pistol in the game, being carried by Don Guilliani's bodyguards in "Anathema", the black suited bodyguards in "St. Petersburg Stakeout", Makarov and Kubasko's bodyguards in "Kirov Park Meeting", some of the soldiers in "Tubeway Torpedo", embassy guards in "Invitation to a Party", Masahiro Hayamoto Jr, Tanaka Kusahana, the cook and one of the bodyguards in "Tracking Hayamoto", security guards in "Basement Killing", "The Graveyard Shift" (also in the system administrator's office) and "The Jacuzzi Job", Lieutenant Ahmed Zahir in "Murder at the Bazaar", bodyguards in "The Death of Hannelore" and some of Sergei's men in "Redemption at Gontranno". It is referred as the '9mm Pistol'.
Beretta 92FS suppressed variant
Referred to as the 9mm Pistol SD, 47 starts out with one when playing below "Expert" mode in the mission "Anathema". One can be found in the Agency pickup along with a Dragunov in "St. Petersburg Stakeout", at the Agency pickup by the pier in "Kirov Park Meeting", at the Agency pickup in the storage yard and carried by General Bardachenko in "Tubeway Torpedo", at the Agency pickup by the pier in "Invitation to a Party", inside locker 137 in the locker room in "Basement Killing", inside the weapons box in the southern office in "The Graveyard Shift", carried by one of the cult assassins in "Temple City Ambush" and in the storage room in "The Death of Hannelore".
Colt Python
A snub-nosed 2.5" Colt Python revolver appears in the game simply as the 'Revolver' and has some sort of custom grips. It shares the same ammo with Desert Eagle, when in fact the former is .357 and the latter .50 respectively. It appears in four levels: "Anathema" on the primary target Giuseppe Guilliani, "The Jacuzzi Job" carried by the bikini clad women in the hot tub with Charlie Sidjan and one in the office, "Murder at the Bazaar" carried by Colonel Mohammad Amin and "Temple City Ambush" carried by the cult members.
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
The Desert Eagle Mark XIX appears in the game as 'Deagle .50'. Strangely it is seen sharing ammo with the .357 Colt Python (Desert Eagle in .357 mag perhaps?). It is found in the levels "Anathema" carried by Guilliani's son and brother and also in the study, "Tubeway Torpedo" inside a desk in an office on the second floor, "Shogun Showdown" by some of the guards, "Basement Killing" inside the security office, "Tunnel Rat" carried by Lieutenant Yussef Hussein and a couple of soldiers, "Temple City Ambush" used by Agent Smith, "Terminal Hospitality" carried by most of the bodyguards and one can be found in the temple and in "St. Petersburg Revisited" by Agent 17 and some of the FSB agents. It is very powerful at close range but useless at a distance.
PSM
A rusty and worn-out PSM is present in the game as the '.54 Pistol', they seem to get the decimal point wrong by one place (it's calibre is 5.45 mm not .54 In). It is seen in two levels, carried by a guard at one of the roadblocks in "St. Petersburg Stakeout" and by the Spetsnaz agent in "Invitation to a Party". It has an erroneous magazine capacity of 10 rounds instead of 8.
Ruger MK II
The Ruger Mk II appears in-game as the '.22 Suppressed' and is found in "Shogun Showdown" in the southeast corner of Hayamoto's museum and used by Agent 17 at the end of "Terminal Hospitality although it is unobtainable. It has relatively lesser stopping power but provides very good suppressed fire in the game. Carrying this gun through metal detectors will (unrealistically) not set them off. It also has an erroneous magazine capacity of 12 rounds instead of 10.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Referred to ingame as the SMG, the Heckler & Koch MP5A3 can be found in "Invitation to a Party" being carried by most of the embassy guards, in "Tracking Hayamoto" carried by most of the guards and one can also be found in the bedroom in the northern part of the mansion, in "The Jacuzzi Job" being carried by the security guards who get called up in the elevator if the alarm is raised, in "Temple City Ambush" carried by one of the cult assassins, in "Terminal Hospitality" carried by a few of the bodyguards and in "Redemption at Gontranno" carried by a few of Sergei's men.
Heckler & Koch MP5SD6
The Heckler & Koch MP5SD3 appears in the game referred as the SMG-SD6 despite being modeled with the 3 position fire selector (as seen in the screenshots). Ninjas can be seen using them in the missions "Hidden Valley", "At the Gates" and "Shogun Showdown" as can the the cult assassin with the purple turban in "Temple City Ambush". Four can also be found in the weapons room in "Shogun Showdown".
IMI Uzi
The Uzi with stock extended can be only seen in the level "Terminal Hospitality" being used by some of the bodyguards near the dock area with one located in a hut. It has a good rate of fire but highly inaccurate as compared to the MP5s.
Assault Rifles
Colt M4A1
The Colt M4A1 is the rarest weapon in the game and comes with a scope that cannot be used. It can only be gained by getting the Silent Assassin rating in all 4 St. Petersburg levels or by killing a UN soldier in the level "Motorcade Interception" (which will result in failing the mission) You can use the Fiber Wire or the Anesthesia to get the gun, but if you try to exit the level with it, the game will crash. It one of the best weapon in the game and it provides the most accurate, full automatic fire of all the assault rifles.
Izhmash AKS-74U
The Izhmash AKS-74U is referred as the 'AK Assault Rifle'. Unlike the real AKS-74U it has a different handguard. It is seen in "St. Petersburg Stakeout", "Kirov Park Meeting" and "Tubeway Torpedo" used by Russian guards; "Murder at the Bazaar", "Motorcade Interception" and "Tunnel Rat" by Afghani guards and "Terminal Hospitality" used by cult members as well as in weapons caches in "Tubeway Torpedo (in the Agency pickup in the first basement, a room in the northeast corner of the army depot, in a room just outside the entrance to the headquarters and on the first floor of the headquarters), "Tunnel Rat" (in the guard quarters), "The Death of Hannelore" (in the storage room) and "Terminal Hospitality" (three can be found in the temple).
Shotguns
Double Barreled Shotgun
The Double Barreled Shotgun can be found in the first level "Anathema" carried one of the guards outside of the mansion and by Guilliani's lawyer. This is the only mission where it appears.
Sawed-off Double Barreled Shotgun
The Sawed-off Double Barreled Shotgun is given to the player on getting the Silent Assassin rank in any two levels.
Franchi SPAS-12
A Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun is present in the game as the 'SP12 Shotgun'. It is erroneously said to be a fully-automatic shotgun when in fact it is shown firing only in the semi-automatic mode in the game. It has the folding-stock removed and is the best shotgun of the game. It is found in the levels "Temple City Ambush" at the first agency pickup along with ammo, "St. Petersburg Revisited" on certain FSB agents and lastly is used by the antagonist Sergei Zavorotko in the level "Redemption at Gontranno" although it is unobtainable as the game ends when Sergei dies.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M95
The Barrett M95 is found as the 'M195 Sniper Rifle' and described as an anti-vehicle sniper rifle. It is only found in the level "Motorcade Interception", where it used to kill the Khan.
Blaser R93 Tactical
The Blaser R93 LRS2 features in the game as the 'R93 Sniper'. It is found in three levels "Anathema" inside Guilliani's garage, "Temple City Ambush" on the two sniper assassins and in "Terminal Hospitality" inside the temple.
Izhmash SVD Dragunov
The SVD Dragunov is referred in-game as the 'SVD Sniper'. It is found in several levels "St. Petersburg Stakeout" at the agency pickup inside the Metro station and is used to kill the KGB General, "Kirov Park Meeting" at the agency pickup behind the garbage bins at the pier, "Murder at the Bazaar" inside a house marked by a point of interest, "St. Petersburg Revisited" at the agency pickup (loaded with blanks however) and in "Redemption at Gontranno" on several enemy snipers.
Walther WA 2000
The Walther WA 2000 can be found in-game as the 'W2000 Sniper Rifle'. It can be found in two levels "Invitation to a Party" on the balcony of the embassy and in "St. Petersburg Revisited" on Agent 47's nemesis Agent 17. It is inaccurately portrayed as bolt action rather than semi-automatic.
Walther WA 2000 Custom
The custom version can be seen with black furniture, suppressor, laser module, advanced sniper scope and an increased magazine capacity. It is used by Ninja snipers in towers in levels "Hidden Valley" and "At the Gates". It also makes an appearance in the final level "Redemption at Gontranno" carried by enemy snipers.
Machine Guns
M60E3
A M60E3 appears in the game with the foregrip removed. It is the most powerful weapon in the game but lacks accuracy and has huge recoil. It is found in "The Motorcade Interception" used by the two UN soldiers in the jeeps and in "Tunnel Rat" where it is used by numerous enemy soldiers and can be found in the guard quarters.
Others
Crossbow
The Crossbow is included as a long range-weapon. It is found in the level "The Hidden Valley" at the Agency pickup and gives silenced fire but has low stopping power.
