Handguns

Colt Detective Special

In later seasons, Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord) carries a Colt Detective Special as his sidearm.

Colt Detective Special 1st Gen .38 Special

Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord) pulls his Colt DS after a plane crash in "McGarrett is Missing" (S8E02).

Charlie Bombay (Charles Cioffi) holds the Colt DS in "McGarrett is Missing" (S8E02).

Smith & Wesson Model 36

The main sidearm of the Five-O detectives is the Smith & Wesson Model 36, usually fitted with custom wood grips. The main sidearm of the Five-O detectives is the Smith & Wesson Model 36. Those who carry the handgun include Danny "Danno" Williams (James MacArthur), Chin Ho Kelly (Kam Fong). Other versions of the S&W are used by several criminals and suspects in the series.

Smith & Wesson Model 10/ Military & Police

The Smith & Wesson Model 10, also known as the Military & Police (M&P) and the "Police Special", is seen in the hands of officers of the Honolulu Police Department as well as many criminals in the series.

The M1911A1 is a handgun frequently used by suspects in the series.

High Standard FLITE KING K-1200 Riot Shotgun

The High Standard FLITE KING K-1200 Riot Standard Model shotgun is used by HPD officers in Season 8.

High Standard FLITE KING K-1200 Riot Standard Model (Catalog #8111) - 12 gauge. This is the screen used shotgun, held by Steve McQueen in the film The Getaway (1972).
