Max ([[Til Schweiger]]) uses a subcompact Glock as one of his two side arms throughout the movie. The exact model cannot be identified, but it’s most probably a [[Glock 26]] in the popular 9mm calibre. He does not carry it in a holster, but rather on the inside of his belt with a metal clip fixed on the right side of the slide.
+
SEK officer Max ([[Til Schweiger]]) carries a [[Glock 27]] as his main sidearm in the film (although SEK officers can purchase equipment that they feel the best for the mission, the Germans prefer the 9mm as the ammunition of their weapon). Interestingly, Max does not carry the pistol in a holster, but rather on the inside of his belt with a Clipdraw, a metal clip fixed on the right side of the slide.

Regular police officers, most notably Max's colleagues Helena ([[Hannah Herzsprung]]), Kurt ([[Kostja Ullmann]]) and Henri ([[Herbert Knaup]]), are armed with what seem to be regular [[SIG-Sauer P225]]'s. Guardian Angel (original title: Schutzengel) is a 2012 German action movie about ex-special forces operative Max (Til Schweiger) who now works for the witness-protection program of the Berlin police.

The following weapons were used in the film Guardian Angel (Schutzengel):

Pistols

Glock 27

SEK officer Max (Til Schweiger) carries a Glock 27 as his main sidearm in the film (although SEK officers can purchase equipment that they feel the best for the mission, the Germans prefer the 9mm as the ammunition of their weapon). Interestingly, Max does not carry the pistol in a holster, but rather on the inside of his belt with a Clipdraw, a metal clip fixed on the right side of the slide.

The slide recoils on Max's sidearm, giving a clear view of the barrel .
Max orders a fellow police officer to lower his weapon with his sidearm drawn. Note the Clipdraw on the right side of the slide.
Max draws his pistol in the final shootout. Note the bulletproof vest with Arabic script, taken from a German mission in Afghanistan.

Heckler & Koch P30

Max owns a Heckler & Koch P30 and used in various occasions. Unlike the Glock 27 that he keeps on his belt, the Heckler & Koch P30 is kept in a backpack with some magazines. Nina (Luna Schweiger) is also seen with the pistol.

Max loading his Heckler & Koch P30 in his apartment. The characteristic slide and grip design are easily identifiable.
Max shoots an attacker with his Heckler & Koch P30. Note that even with this reflexive shooting he seems to be aiming.
During a carjacking, Nina (Luna Schweiger) takes the magazine out of her Heckler & Koch P30 to show the police, who believe she's holding a toy gun, that she means business.
When his left hand is injured during the hospital shootout, Max clasps his Heckler & Koch P30 between his left knee to insert a new magazine…
…and kicks the slide release to chamber a round. Talk about quick thinking.

SIG-Sauer P225

Regular police officers, most notably Max's colleagues Helena (Hannah Herzsprung), Kurt (Kostja Ullmann) and Henri (Herbert Knaup), are armed with what seem to be regular SIG-Sauer P225's. They cannot be positively identified as police version SIG-Sauer P6's because there's no clear view of its typical skeleton hammer.

During the opening shootout, one hitman is also armed with a SIG-Sauer P225.
Helena's SIG-Sauer P225 suffers an unfortunate stovepipe jam, note a second cartridge flying off to the left.
During the standoff at the diner, a police officer (Werner Kalb) is knocked unconscious by Max and loses his SIG-Sauer P225 on the floor.

Umarex Hämmerli P26

During the standoff at the diner, the female police officer (Katharina Schüttler) carries an Umarex Hämmerli P26 which can be visually identified from the above mentioned SIG-Sauer P225 by the round logo in the middle of the grip.

Caracal F

In what seems to be the first movie appearance of this pistol, the Caracal F is used by Max’s ex-special forces buddy Rudi (Moritz Bleibtreu).

Rudi cocks his Caracal F as hitmen close in on his farmhouse. The typical round etching on the grip and the relatively low slide are clearly visible.

Even though her trigger discipline could improve somewhat, Rudi’s training seems to be paying off.

Submachine Guns

Brügger & Thomet MP9

Several hitmen carry the Brügger & Thomet MP9, in one case equipped with a B&T MP9 QD suppressor. True to its covert carry nature, it is seen pulled from underneath a coat in one scene.

Shotguns

Assault Rifles

Luvo Arms LA-16

Max uses a Luvo Arms LA-16 with a 10.5" barrel from his friend Rudi’s weapons cache. The weapon can be identified by the typical ring enclosing the back of the hand guard. The rail-mounted front sight has been put on backwards and an EOTech sight has been fitted.

AK-47

During the attack on the farmhouse, several assailants use modernized AK-47's equipped with M4-style collapsible stocks, AKM-style flash hiders and what appears to be a synthetic Command Arms quad rail handguard.

Machine Guns

FM MAG 58

As mercenaries descend upon the farmhouse where Max and Nina are hiding, one of them carries a FN MAG 58. The version he is carrying has a large perforated heatshield, possibly to make the gun look like the M240 variant.

Miscellaneous

Outdoor Gun Training

The extra’s section of the DVD shows two short gun-related movies. The first one is about the gun training that Til Schweiger took in the USA in preparation for this movie. Under the supervision of a professional shooting instructor he fired thousands of rounds, predominantly with assault rifles.

Indoor Shooting Training

The second short movie concerns a report of an indoor gun training for the crew, all using Umarex Hämmerli P26 blank shooting replica's of the SIG-Sauer P225.
