G.I. Samurai (戦国自衛隊 Sengoku jieitai (Time Slip) and Sengoku Self Defense Force?) is a 1979 Japanese adventure movie. This film was remade as Samurai Commando: Mission 1549 at 2005.

M1911A1

Lt. Yoshiaki Iba's (Shin'ichi Chiba) sidearm is the M1911A1.

Satin Nickel M1911A1 Pistol - .45 ACP. Manufactured on license by Remington Rand - nickel plated later by its owner.

Howa Type 64

The Howa Type 64 is the main weapon of the most jsdf members. Lt. Yoshiaki Iba (Shin'ichi Chiba) use it at the one scene.

Unknown rifle

One jsdf member uses the unknown rifle. At the film climax this rifle can be seen in the hands of Yoshiaki Iba (Shin'ichi Chiba).

Browning M2 Heavy Barrel

jsdf cars equiped by the Browning M2 Heavy Barrel. Lt. Yoshiaki Iba (Shin'ichi Chiba) and other jsdf members fires it. At the one scene Nagao Kagetora (Isao Natsuyagi) fires it.

one jsdf car was equiped by the Sumitomo NTK-62. Lt. Yoshiaki Iba (Shin'ichi Chiba) and other jsdf members fires it.

M72 LAW

jsdf members uses a few M72 LAW.

M72A2 LAW - 66mm. The "Empty" marking makes it clear this is a spent tube.

M3A1 "Grease Gun"

jsdf members (include Lt. Yoshiaki Iba) uses the M3A1 "Grease Gun".

M3 "Grease Gun" .45 ACP. The later model M3A1 would eliminate the crank lever for cocking the bolt, and instead used a simple hole in the bolt for the shooter to use their finger.
