Cutthroat Island is a 1995 adventure film directed by Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2), and starring Geena Davis and Matthew Modine. The film bombed at the box office, and drove Carolco Pictures, which had produced such hits as the first three Rambo movies, Total Recall, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, into bankruptcy and eventual liquidation.
The following weapons were used in the film Cutthroat Island:
Flintlock Pistol
The pirates and the soldiers used several types of Flintlock pistols.
The pirate takes CPT Trotter (Angus Wright) prisoner.
The English officer tries to shoot the pirates' helmsman Mr. Blair (Rex Linn).
The traitor Scully (Jimmie F. Skaggs) has a luxurious English Double-Barrel Flintlock Pistol.
English Doglock Musket
The characters in the film are mostly armed by English Doglock Muskets.
Mr. Glaspool (Stan Shaw) holds a captured soldier on the sights of his musket.
Blunderbuss
In the film occasionally occur also Blunderbuss muskets.
One of the pirates has a Blunderbuss on his back.
