Cutthroat Island

Cutthroat Island is a 1995 pirate adventure film directed by Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2) and starring Geena Davis and Matthew Modine. The film bombed at the box office, and drove Carolco Pictures, which had produced such hits as the first three Rambo movies, Total Recall, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, into bankruptcy and eventual liquidation.

British Heavy Dragoon Pistol
A heavily customized British Heavy Dragoon Pistol is carried by Dawg Brown (Frank Langella). This is the same pistol that was later used by Captain Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. This gun was previously misidentified as a Spanish Miqulet likely due to being incorrectly described as such in a 2016 auction. This hero gun was later auctioned again in 2020 and 2023.
Flintlock Pistol
The pirates and the soldiers use several types of Flintlock pistols.
Brown Bess Flintlock Musket
Various characters including, Morgan Adams (Geena Davis), are seen with Brown Bess Flintlock Muskets.
Blunderbuss
A few Blunderbusses are seen.
Swivel Gun
Naval cannons are mounted aboard various ships.
