Blade: The Series was the television series continuation of the Marvel Comics character that was first adapted in 1998's Blade. The television series was created by David S. Goyer, the screenwriter of all three Blade films and the director of Blade: Trinity. Kirk "Sticky Fingaz" Jones assumes the role of Blade in the series, which was actually a continuation of the films' continuity, as several events from the films were mentioned in the first episode.
