For a Cop's Hide (Pour la peau d'un flic) is a 1981 French crime movie starring Alain Delon as private eye Choucas who investigates the disappearance of a blind young woman.

Smith & Wesson Model 36

Smith & Wesson Model 36 revolvers are carried by numerous characters, including police detectives and criminals. Choucas (Alain Delon) gets a nickel plated S&W Model 36-10 from one the criminals in the scene in abandoned house. In the final scene the revolver is taken from him by Kasper (Xavier Depraz) who then handed it to Professor Bachhoffer (Jacques Rispal).

Colt Combat Commander

Kasper (Xavier Depraz) uses Colt Combat Commander in several scenes until he is disarmed by Choucas (Alain Delon). Later Choucas uses this pistol until it is lost in the car accident. The pistol is identified as .45 caliber several times during the movie.
