The Rookie (2018 TV Series)

The Rookie is a 2018 television series starring Nathan Fillion as John Nolan, a forty-something construction business owner who decides to move to Los Angeles and become an officer with the LAPD. During his probationary period, he must deal with the trials of being a new officer on the job at his age as well as animosity from his watch commander and other fellow officers. The series premiered in the US on ABC in October of 2018.

Pistols
Smith & Wesson M&P
The Smith & Wesson M&P fitted with Surefire weaponlights are seen carried by several of the rookie officers in the series, including John Nolan (Nathan Fillion), Jackson West (Titus Makin), and Lucy Chen (Melissa O'Neil). The M&P recently became the standard department-issued duty weapon for the LAPD.
Smith and Wesson M&P Compact
John keeps a Smith & Wesson M&Pc in his bedroom that he takes out in "The Roundup" (S1E05). The compact pistol also is used as a backup weapon for Ofc. Lucy Chen (Melissa O'Neil), who pulls it in "Standoff" (S1E09).
Smith & Wesson 39
During an investigation, Nolan finds what appears to be a Smith & Wesson 39 in a hidden area in "Pilot" (S1E01).
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS, the former LAPD department-issued sidearm, appears in the hands of mostly veteran detectives and criminals.
Colt MK IV Series 80
Jeremy "The Hawke" Hawke (Shawn Christian) carries what appears to be a custom Colt MK IV Series 80 as his sidearm in "The Hawke" (S1E06).
Glock 17
Glock 17 pistols fitted with Surefire X300 weaponlights are carried by LAPD training officers in the series, including PO3 Alyssa Diaz (Angela Lopez), PO3 Talia Bishop (Afton Williamson), and PO3 Tim Bradford (Eric Winter) . Police Sergeant II Wade Grey (Richard T. Jones) appears to carry a Glock 17 as his sidearm. He is seen holding the pistol in "The Switch" (S1E04). Captain Zoe Andersen (Mercedes Masöhn) also carries the Glock in "Flesh and Blood" (S1E10). The Glock 17 is likely a substitute for the Glock 22, the former department-issued sidearm of the LAPD.
Colt Officer's ACP
In "Pilot" (S1E01), a custom two-tone Colt Officer's ACP is used by a bank robber. This pistol appears to have Novak-style sights, flared magwell, slanted slide serrations, as well as a skeletonized hammer and trigger.
Colt Commander
A Colt Commander is used by Kai De Vera (Skye P. Marshall) in "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" (S1E03).
Colt Mustang
A female mobster appears to wield both a Colt Mustang as well as a two-tone Glock 17 in "The Roundup" (S1E05).
CZ 75 P-07 Duty
A mobster is armed with a CZ 75 P-07 Duty in "The Roundup" (S1E05).
Heckler & Koch USP
A gangster uses a Heckler & Koch USP pistol to shoot at Chen in "Standoff" (S1E09).
Colt M1911A1 (Custom Engraved)
A custom engraved Colt M1911A1 is seen in "Flesh and Blood" (S1E10).
Ruger KP89
Nolan discovers what appears to be a hidden stainless Ruger KP89 in "The Roundup" (S1E05).
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 64
In "Pilot" (S1E01), a carjacker reveals a revolver in his waistband that resembles a Smith & Wesson Model 64.
Colt Detective Special
A plastic replica gun that resembles a Colt Detective Special is used by an armed robber in "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" (S1E03).
Shotguns
Remington 870 (Police Magnum Extended)
The LAPD-issued shotgun in the series is the Remington 870 Police Magnum shotgun with extended magazine tubes. The officers also are seen with Remington shotguns that carry "less lethal" beanbag rounds.
Remington 870 (Magpul MOE handguard)
A Remington 870 fitted with a Magpul MOE handguard is seen in the hands of a bank robber in "Pilot" (S1E01).
Mossberg 590
Instead of a Remington 870, Nolan appears to carry a Mossberg 590 in "The Roundup" (S1E05).
12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun
In "Crash Course" (S1E02), a suspect pulls out double barreled Coach-style shotgun.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5K
A Heckler & Koch MP5K is used by a robbery suspect in "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" (S1E03).
Heckler & Koch MP7A1
The Heckler & Koch MP7A1 is used by a gangster in "Standoff" (S1E09).
Rifles/Carbines
M4A1 Carbine
The M4A1 Carbine is used primarily by LAPD SWAT in the series.
M1 Garand
In "Redwood" (S1E11), an M1 Garand rifle is brought in during a gun buyback program.
Colt Model 933
A Colt Model 933 carbine fitted with a Magpul CTR stock, Handguard, PMAG, and MOE Grip is seen used by a suspect in "Pilot" (S1E01).
DSA SA58 OSW
A gunman is armed with a DSA SA58 OSW in "The Switch" (S1E04).
Other
Taser X26P
A Taser X26P with green furniture is carried by LAPD patrol officers. The Taser is used by PO3 Talia Bishop (Afton Williamson) in "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" (S1E03).
DefTech multi launcher
A DefTech launcher is seen in the hands of both Diaz (Angela Lopez) and Nolan in "Redwood" (S1E11).
