In Day 5 of 24, after being presumed dead and subsequently living under an assumed name, Jack Bauer returns to Los Angeles CTU when a close friend of his is assassinated and Russian separatists threaten to carry out attacks throughout the United States if an anti-terrorism peace treaty between the US and Russia is signed.
The following weapons were used in Season 5 of the television series 24:
Pistols
Heckler & Koch USP Compact
Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) continues to use a Heckler & Koch USP Compact, chambered in 9x19mm, in Season 5 of 24. He is seen using it with and without a suppressor. Wayne Palmer (D.B. Woodside) is seen holding the USP Compact on Jack in "8:00am-9:00am" (S5E02). Christopher Henderson (Peter Weller) is seen holding Jack's USP in (S5E10).
TRIVIA: There were only two H&K USP Compacts used by Kiefer Sutherland through the entire run of the series. This was because Kiefer is a method actor and did not like to change props. He only wore 3 real kevlar bullet proof vests through out all 8 seasons. (IMFDB thanks The Golden Closet for providing the documentation on this gun.)
TRIVIA: Kiefer Sutherland also used the gun pictured above during the photo shoot for one of the posters promoting Season 5 of the series. Because it was technically a live firing weapon and the photo shoot took place in Washington DC on the steps of one of the monuments, Secret Service agents were required to be present at the photography session.
Heckler & Koch P2000
Christopher Henderson (Peter Weller) wields a Heckler & Koch P2000 while escaping from Jack and Audrey in "1:00am-2:00am" (S5E19). Audrey Raines (Kim Raver) later uses it briefly.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is seen by a LAPD SWAT officer when opening the back of a van in "8:00am-9:00am" (S5E02). A CTU Guard uses a Beretta 92FS as his sidearm in "11:00am-12:00pm" (S5E05). Some US Customs officers are seen with Beretta 92FS handguns when searching for the shipping container in "12:00pm-1:00pm" (S5E06).
Beretta 92G Elite II
Polokoff (Timothy Omundson) is seen carrying a Beretta 92G Elite II in "2:00pm-3:00pm" (S5E08). One is also used by Vladimir Bierko (Julian Sands) during the shootout at the natural gas plant in (S5E15).
Colt M1911A1 (Stainless)
Anton Beresch (David Dayan Fisher) uses a Stainless M1911A1 as his sidearm during the taking of the airport in episodes 2-4.
Colt Commander (Nickel)
After receiving a phone call, President Charles Logan (Gregory Itzin) is seen taking out a nickel Colt Commander from a case and contemplates taking his life with it in "3:00am-4:00am" (S5E21).
CZ 75B
Jack takes a suppressed CZ 75B off a terrorist during the shopping mall attack in "2:00pm-3:00pm" (S4E08). It is also used by one of Bierko's men in (S4E23). A Military Police officer is seen armed with one in the same episode.
Glock 17
Curtis Manning (Roger R. Cross) uses a Glock 17 as his sidearm in episodes 4-5. A CTU Guard uses a Glock 17 as his sidearm in "11:00am-12:00pm" (S5E05). Jacob Rossler (Patrick Bauchau) uses a Glock 17 as his sidearm in "1:00pm-2:00pm" (S5E07). Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) is seen taking the Glock 17 off a CTU agent and pointing it at Christopher Henderson (Peter Weller) in "7:00pm-8:00pm" (S5E13). Henderson later is seen with the handgun.
Glock 17 (Full Auto Conversion)
In "4:00am-5:00am" (S5E22), Joseph Malina (José Zúñiga) uses a Glock 17 modified to fire on full auto when Jack and the CTU Tac team enter the residence. The handgun is fitted with a stainless slide, and loaded with an extended 33 Round magazine.
Glock 19
The Glock 19 is the first pistol pulled by Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in Season 5. He is seen keeping it under his sofa and taking it out in "7:00am-8:00am" (S5E01). Chloe O'Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub) uses Jack's Glock 19 while taking cover at the oil refineries in "7:00am-8:00am" (S5E01). Secret Service Agent Jennings (Matt Battaglia) uses a Glock 19 while searching for Jack and Chloe in "8:00am-9:00am" (S5E02). A terrorist (Eric Winzenried) is briefly seen with a SIG-Sauer P228 while looking for Jack and Chloe in the oil refinery in "7:00am-8:00am" (S5E01). Secret Service Agents are seen using SIG-Sauer P228 handguns during the arrest of Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in "12:00pm-1:00pm" (S4E06). Secret Service Agent Aaron Pierce (Glenn Morshower) pulls his SIG during the ambush in (S5E10).
Smith & Wesson 4506-1

Christopher Henderson (Peter Weller) is given one in "5:00am-6:00am" (S5E23) for personal protection by Jack Bauer, only to discover it was empty the entire time when he tries to shoot him.
