- Boirond's pistol has nothing common with any Tanfoglio pistol. It's definitely a Smith & Wesson, most likely a Smith & Wesson 39 or a Smith & Wesson 59, or maybe a nickel plated version of the same Smith & Wesson 639 that was used by the character in Les Ripoux.
