The following weapons were used in the film The Mummy Returns:
Handguns
Luger P08
A pistol used by the cultists is the Luger P08. It is most notably seen in the gunfight that ensues after Rick (Brendan Fraser) rescues Evelyn (Rachel Weisz).
Mauser C96
During the gunfight that results after Rick saves Evelyn, Lock-Nah (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) grabs a pair of Mauser C96s and fires them at Ardeth Bay (Oded Fehr).
Colt M1911A1
Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) carries two Colt M1911A1s throughout the film. He also hands one of his pistols to his wife Evelyn O'Connell (Rachel Weisz) during the gunfight at the museum. If you look closely it can be noted that Evelyn fires the gun even after the slide has locked back.
Smith & Wesson Military & Police
Red (Bruce Byron), one of the mercenaries, carries a Smith & Wesson Military & Police with a 4" barrel.
FN Hi-Power
Red (Bruce Byron), one of the mercenaries, carries an anachronistic FN Hi-Power. The earliest model is the P-35. Since the film takes place in 1933, the pistol is several years too early to be seen in the belt of a lowly mercenary.
Smith & Wesson "Triple Lock"
Rick (Brendan Fraser) carries a Smith & Wesson "Triple Lock" in an opening scene.
Webley Mk. V
Jacques (Joe Dixon) and Spivey (Tom Fisher), two mercenaries, carry Webley Mk Vs, each with a long 6" barrel as sold to British army officers.
Submachine Guns
Steyr-Solothurn S1-100
Many of the cultists assisting Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo) throughout the film use Steyr-Solothurn S1-100 submachine guns. During the gunfight in the museum basement, Lock-Nah tosses one to Meela Nais (Patricia Velasquez), who fires it at Ardeth Bay.
M1928 Thompson
Ardeth Bay (Oded Fehr) uses an M1928 Thompson during the gunfight in the museum basement.
Shotguns
Winchester Model 1887
One of the main weapons Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) uses throughout the film is a Winchester Model 1887 shotgun. Evelyn was also seen using the shotgun in the bus chase scene.
Sawed-Off Double Barreled Shotgun
Rick carries a Sawed-Off Double Barreled Shotgun on his back when he enters the jungle created around the pyramid.
Rifles
Lebel Mle. 1886
The Lebel 1886 rifle is seen in the hands of cultists, most notably when they enter the jungle created around the pyramid.
Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk. III*
The Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk III* rifles appear frequently among the cultists en route to Ahm Shere, one of them being used by Lock-Nah (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) to kill the falcon Ardeth Bay had been using to communicate with other members of the Medjai.
Lee-Enfield Mk. I CLLE
During the Pygmy mummy attack in Ahm Shere, Jonathan Carnahan (John Hannah) covers Rick (Brendan Fraser) and Ardeth Bay (Oded Fehr) with a Boer War-era Lee-Enfield Mk. I. This rifle lacks the dust cover over the bolt and has a receiver bridge holding the charging clip guide found on subsequent SMLE rifles indicating that it is the later CLLE (Charger Loading Lee-Enfield) variant.
Lee-Speed Sporter
Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) uses a Lee-Speed Sporter rifle with a scope, similar to Lee-Enfield, to cover Rick and Ardeth Bay during the Pygmy mummy attack in Ahm Shere. See The Ghost and the Darkness.
Other
M2 Flamethrower
During the scene where the cultists are excavating Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo) in Hamunaptra, a pair of cultists can be seen using M2 Flamethrowers to fend off the flesh-eating scarabs that are unleashed on several unlucky diggers.
O'Connell's Arsenal
Rick has a box with weapons in his car trunk. It consists of:
- One M1928 Thompson submachine gun.
- Two Colt M1911A1 pistols.
- Two Smith & Wesson "Triple Lock" revolvers.
- One Winchester Model 1887 shotgun.
- One Sawed-Off Double Barreled Shotgun.
- One knife.
- One balisong.
- One bandolier with shotgun ammo.
- One bandolier with rifle ammo.
