Beverly Hills Cop III is the third installment in the Beverly Hills Cop trilogy. The 1994 sequel, which was directed by John Landis, finds Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) in Beverly Hills once again when a Detroit officer is killed by gunmen linked to a Southern California amusement park.
The following weapons were used in the film Beverly Hills Cop III:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Pistols
Browning Hi-Power
Detroit Police Detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) once again carries a Browning Hi-Power as his standard sidearm. In contrast to the first two films, in which the weapons were provided by Stembridge Gun Rentals, the weapons in Beverly Hills Cop III were provided by Gibbons Ltd., and so a different gun was used than the preceding films. The Browning Hi-Power from this movie was eventually inherited by Independent Studio Services after they acquired most of Gibbons Ltd.'s Title I firearms, and finally sold in a 2018 Heritage Auctions listing.
Beretta 92F
The Beretta 92F is carried by Detroit Police Inspector Douglas Todd (Gilbert R. Hill) and Detective Levine (Jon Tenney).
Beretta 92FS Inox
The Beretta 92FS Inox is first seen in the hands of Detroit Police detective Giolito (Joey Travolta) during the shootout at the illegal chop shop. Holloway (Lindsey Lee Ginter) also carries a Beretta 92FS Inox as well, sometimes suppressed. Twice in the film, Holloway's Inox is used by Ellis De Wald (Timothy Carhart).
Colt M1911A1
A Detroit cop is briefly seen with an M1911A1 in the illegal chop shop.
Colt MK IV Series 70
An LAPD SWAT officer carries a Colt MK IV Series 70 in his holster when they raid the stolen truck. Another is seen behind Serge with a tactical light, possibly the same gun.
Glock 17
U.S. Secret Service Agent Steve Fulbright (Stephen McHattie) and his men carry 2nd Generation Glock 17s. At the end of the film, Foley briefly uses Fulbright's Glock. Another Glock 17 is also carried by one of the Detroit police detectives at the beginning of the movie.
Jericho 941R (Two Tone)
Beverly Hills Police Detective Sergeant William 'Billy' Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) carries a two tone Jericho 941 R as his sidearm in the film.
SIG-Sauer P226
Both Ellis De Wald (Timothy Carhart) and Holloway (Lindsey Ginter) are seen using SIG-Sauer P226 pistols during the shootout at the illegal chop shop.
Star Firestar M-45
Ellis De Wald (Timothy Carhart) uses a nickel Star Firestar M-45 pistol in the "Land of Dinosaurs" ride shootout. Note, by looking at the screencaps, as the characteristics coincide: completely side ejection port, back finger grooves, wide sub-compact frame and huge .45 bore. The trigger guard is frontally grooved and curved at the bottom and the Firestar M-series had black factory barrel and guide rod (visible when the weapon is fired in the second screencap).
Smith & Wesson 3913
A Smith & Wesson 3913 is visible in the hands of a Detective Giolito (Joey Travolta). In some scenes, the S&W turns into a Beretta 92FS Inox.
Walther PPK
A Walther PPK is used by Orrin Sanderson (John Saxon).
Walther P88
Ellis De Wald (Timothy Carhart) is seen carrying a Walther P88. He never fires it as Foley holds him hostage twice with the gun. Beverly Hills Cop III is one of the first movies to feature the P88.
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 29
Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) picks up a Smith & Wesson Model 29 from a security guard's body.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Beverly Hills Police Detective Jon Flint (Hector Elizondo) as well as a Detroit cop are seen with Smith & Wesson Model 36s.
Smith & Wesson Model 19
A Detroit cop is seen with a Smith & Wesson Model 19 with a four-inch barrel.
Submachine Guns
Ingram MAC-10
A MAC-10 fitted with a suppressor is seen in the hands of Taddeo (David Parry) during the opening shootout. Several of the Wonder World guards also are armed with MAC-10s, one of which ends up in Axel's hands. All of the MAC-10s seen in the film have had their wire folding stocks removed.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
A suppressed Heckler & Koch MP5K is used by Fletch (Michael Bowen) during the opening shootout. The MP5K is also seen in the hands of Wonder World security, notably Holloway. Both Axel and Detective Jon Flint (Hector Elizondo) also are seen using the MP5K.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Some of the SWAT officers who raid the van are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5A3s with slimline hand guards. The MP5A3s used in this scene appear to be airsoft weapons, based on their plastic look (they are also not fired in the scene).
Intratec TEC-9
A Wonder World security guard shoots at Billy Rosewood with a TEC-9.
Uzi
One of the Wonder World security guards uses an Uzi.
Micro Uzi
Holloway (Lindsey Lee Ginter) opens fire with a Micro Uzi in the opening car chase.
