The Terrorists (Original British title: Ransom) is a 1974 drama directed by Caspar Wrede starring Sean Connery and Ian McShane. Set in the fictional Scandinavian country of "Scandinavia" (actually Norway, but everyone speaks with British accents,) it deals with two hostage situations that are connected.

Handguns
Colt Detective Special
Ray Petrie (Ian McShane) carries a third generation Colt Detective Special in the film. Captain Denver (Norman Bristow) briefly takes it away.
Colt Official Police
Martin Shepherd (John Quentin) and Eva (Karen Maxwell) carry Colt Official Police receivers with 6" barrels. Colonel Nils Tahlvik (Sean Connery) later takes from the terrorists.
Colt Python
One of the terrorists pulls a Colt Python in the end.
Walther PP
Various characters, from terrorists to military personnel, are seen with Walther PP pistols.
Beretta 76
Two of the terrorists on the plane are armed with Beretta 76 pistols.
