Easy Red 2 is an 2020 sandbox first-person shooter developed by Italian indie developer Marco Amadei and his company Corvostudio. A sequel to Amadei and Corvostudio's earlier Easy Red, originally released in 2017, Easy Red 2 simulates massive, fully destructible and realistic combat from multiple fronts of World War 2, similar to games such as Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm. The base game comes with campaigns set in the Battle of Anzio, the Battle of Kos, and the Battle of Kwajalein. A free DLC would add the Battle of Makin, with paid DLCs also being released following the Battle of France, the Battle of Stalingrad, the Battle of the Bulge, and Operation Overlord and the Normandy landings. Campaigns based on the Tunisian Campaign and the Sino-Japanese War are currently in development.
The following weapons appear in the video game Easy Red 2:
Handguns
Handguns are correctly wielded in the time-accurate "point shooting" method, where the user holds the pistol with one hand;
Colt M1911A1
The Colt M1911A1 appears in the game under the same name as a Secondary weapon for U.S. Squad Leaders, Radiomen, Snipers, Pilots, and Crewmen.
Tokarev TT-33
The Tokarev TT-33 is used by the USSR under the name "TT-33", and is used by Soviet Squad leaders, Radiomen, Pilots, and Crewmen.
Walther P38
The Walther P38 appears under the same name and is used by Western Front German Radiomen, Fallschirmjäger Radiomen, and all German Snipers.
Ruby Pistol
The Ruby Pistol appears as the "Ruby Model 1914" and is used by French Squad Leaders, Radiomen, Snipers, Tankers, and Pilots.
Beretta M1934
The Beretta M1934 appears under the same name and is used by Italian Squad Leaders, Radiomen, Snipers, Pilots, and Tankers
Nambu Type 14
The Nambu Type 14 appears in-game under the same name, it is used by Japanese Squad Leaders, Radiomen, Anti-tank, Pilots, and Tankers.
Luger P08
The Luger P08 is called "Luger" in the game and is used by the German faction Squad Leaders, Tanker Crewmen, and Pilots; despite the Luger P08 being out of main service it's still possible that the pistol was given to reserves.
Mauser C96
The Mauser C96 appears in-game under the same name and comes with a stocked version, it's used by early-war German Eastern-front Radiomen, while the Stocked version is used by Early-war SS Radiomen.
Enfield No. 2
The Enfield No.2 is available in the game to the Common Wealth factions including the British, Aussies, and Canadians, along with the British Armed Polish Army; as a side arm for Squad Leaders, Tankers, Pilots, and Airborne Radiomen.
Smith & Wesson Victory Model
The Smith & Wesson Victory Model is available in the game to the Common Wealth factions including the British, Aussies, and Canadians; along with the British Armed Polish Army as a side arm for Radiomen, and Snipers, a snub-nosed version called the "Smith & Wesson Victory Short".
Shotguns
Winchester Model 1912 Riotgun
The Winchester Model 1912 Riotgun appears in the game as "Winchester M12" and is used by U.S. Radiomen in the Battle of Kwajalein campaign; it can also equip a bayonet
Winchester Model 1912 Trenchgun
The Winchester Model 1912 Trenchgun appears in the game as the "Winchester M12 Trenchgun" and is currently not in use by any faction.
Bolt-Action Rifles
M1903A3 Springfield
The M1903A3 Springfield appears in-game incorrectly as the "M1903 Springfield" the first model of the M1903 series, and is used by both Marine and Army Snipers despite the Marines using the A1 version. Still, each faction uses different scopes, the Marines use the older 7.8x Unertl scope used on the A1 version of the M1903 and the Army uses the newer Model 330 Weaver scope, further more when the scopes are removed it can use a 5-round striper clip on empty reloads and can equip a bayonet.
Mosin Nagant M91/30
The Mosin Nagant M91/30 with a down-turned bolt handle appears in the game as the "Mosin Nagant 91/30" and is the Sniper rifle for Soviet Snipers, it has a 3.5x PU scope mounted by default but can also use iron sights.
Mosin Nagant Model 1938 Carbine
The Mosin Nagant Model 1938 Carbine appears as the standard issue weapon for Soviet Riflemen, it can feed a 5-round stripper clip and fix a socket bayonet.
Mosin Nagant "Obrez"
The Mosin Nagant "Obrez" appears as an easter egg weapon for the Soviet Faction, like all other Mosin Rifles it can use 5-round stripper clips but can not equip scopes or bayonets due to the lack of sights or lugs on the Obrez field modification.
Karabiner 98k
The Karabiner 98k appears as the standard issue rifle for all German Riflemen and early war radiomen and for some snipers, it also has two scopes that can be used the Zeiss ZF41 used by early and the seemingly anarchistic "GLR" Scope modeled after the ZF 4 scope, which can equip a bayonet.
Lee-Enfield No. 4
The Lee-Enfield No. 4 appears as the "Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk1" and appears as the standard weapon for all Common Wealth Faction Riflemen, Medics, and Snipers, similar to Battlefield V the rifle is held in the "Mad Minute" drill stance where the user uses the right hand to grasp the bolt handle while the pointer finger pulls the trigger allowing the Lee-Enfield to be the fastest firing bolt-action in-game, it can also either mount a Enfiled Mk3 Sight or the no 32 scope mounted used on the T variant of the No. 4 Mk1.
Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk I
The Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk. III appears under the name same name as an easter-egg weapon in the shooting range and shares all attachments and animations of the No.4.
MAS-36
The MAS-36 appears in-game under the same name and appears as a weapon for early war French riflemen and some Anti-tank gunners, it's one of the few bolt-action guns in-game that can't equip an optic.
MAS-36/51
The MAS-36/51 appears in-game as a (blank lol) easter egg weapon that shares the same model as the MAS-36 but with a rifle grenade launcher on it but no rifle-mounted grenades are available in-game.
