Triple 9 is a 2016 crime-thriller film directed by John Hillcoat and written by Matt Cook. In the film, a group of bank robbers and corrupt cops plan the murder of a police officer to pull off a high-stakes heist. Triple 9 was released on February 26, 2016, by Open Road Films.

Michael Atwood (Chiwetel Ejiofor) chambers and gives an American Tactical Imports FS9 Sport to Russell Welch (Norman Reedus) before the first bank robbery at the beginning of the movie.

On of the SWAT officers is seen with a Mossberg 590 shotgun fitted with a heatshield, a bayonet lug, and M4-type stock during a raid on a gang neighborhood.

Michael Atwood (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and Gabe Welch (Aaron Paul) both use a Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser with door breaching brake during the first bank heist. During the second robbery of the DHS facility, Michael again uses the shotgun, but this time loaded with Taser shells.
Remington Model 870
Irina's henchman named Ben Feldman (Alexander Babara) holds a Remington 870 shotgun at the end of the movie. When the situation escalates Michael (Chiwetel Ejiofor) knocks the gun out of his hands, but is later forced to return it.

The crew places a bomb in the trunk of the getaway car and blows it up. Michael and Franco also place small bombs on the DHS guards, taking them hostage in the second robbery.
TD Multi Port Plus Distraction Device
Michael Atwood (Chiwetel Ejiofor) puts two TD Multi Port Plus Distraction Device flashbang grenades on the handrail of the bank's front door during the first robbery at the beginning of the movie. It is likely a mock-up as the spoon does not appear to detach even after Michael has pulled the pin.
Gang Cache
A small number of firearms are recovered by the police during the raid on Fernando Rivera's neighborhood.
