Handguns

SIG-Sauer P228

Nicholas "Oz" Ozeransky (Matthew Perry) keeps a SIG-Sauer P228 pistol in his house for protection and later gives it to Jimmy (Bruce Willis), who uses it for a good duration of the film.

Jimmy tells Jill if she touches his cross again, he'll kill her. It should be noted that openly brandishing a firearm like that is not something an experienced hitman would do (you can see a couple in the background).
Jimmy points to his cross with the muzzle of the SIG P228 and Oz is clearly the only one who sees the danger in doing so.

Smith & Wesson 5906

Jill (Amanda Peet) uses a Smith & Wesson 5906 as her weapon of choice in the film. Oz (Matthew Perry) is later seen taking one out from his home arsenal.

Towards the end of the film, Jill tries to convince Lazlo (Kevin Pollak) that she is working for him, so she uses her Smith & Wesson 5906 to shoot Jimmy. Later, when Jimmy is seen unharmed, they explain to Oz how the first round was live, so she could shoot a lamp to convince him it was real, and then the rest were blanks. One cannot simply switch from live rounds to blanks since blanks don't have enough pressure to cycle a real gun and a blank converted gun can't handle a live round.

Jill fires the blanks at Jimmy, which would hurt him at close range anyway. Note how the gun is cycling, which wouldn't happen if it actually was a real gun firing blanks.
Lazlo tries to shoot Jill with the 5906 before Oz hits him with a chair.
