Violent Night is a 2022 action comedy film directed by Tommy Wirkola and written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller. On Christmas Night, Santa Claus finds himself in the middle of a conflict between the wealthy Lightstone family and violent mercenaries led by Christmas-hating Jimmy "Mr. Scrooge" Martinez. Now, Santa Claus must save the little girl Trudy and help her family survive the night. Violent Night was released in theaters in the United States on December 2, 2022.

Handguns

Beretta 92FS

Commander Thorp (Mike Dopud) is armed with a Beretta 92FS throughout the film. When Linda starts shooting, the commander pulls out his gun and returns fire. During the snowmobile chase, Gertrude (Beverly D'Angelo) tries to snatch Thorp's gun, but he throws her down, dropping the gun. Due to a continuity error, the 92FS is swapped for Scrooge's X-Calibur, but in the final fight, the commander carries the gun again.

Glock 17

Scrooge's mercenaries are armed with Glock 17s in holsters. Roman "Jingle" O'Neal's (Finn McCager Higgins), "Tinsel"'s (Phong Giang) and "Peppermint"'s (Rawleigh Clements-Willis) pistols are visible but never used. The Lightstones' guards are also armed with Glocks. During most of the film, Kira "Candy Cane" David (Mitra Suri) carries her Glock in a holster on her vest and uses it during a confrontation with Trudy in the attic. After losing his main weapon in the middle of a fight, "Frosty" (Can Aydin) pulls out his Glock in an attempt to kill Santa. Bjorn "Gingerbread" Johannessen (André Eriksen) also carries the gun in a shoulder holster and fires it several times when Santa escapes. Some of Gertrude's Kill Squad members can also be seen with holstered Glocks, but they are never used.

Grand Power X-Calibur

Jimmy "Scrooge" Martinez (John Leguizamo) is armed with a Grand Power X-Calibur as his primary weapon throughout the film. When he arrives at the gates of the Lightstone estate, he kills the guard Al (Ray Strachan) with the suppressed gun. In the mansion, Jimmy interrogates a tied-up Santa by threatening him with the gun. Later in the movie, Commander Thorp's Beretta falls to the ground and due a continuity error turns into Scrooge's X-Calibur. Gertrude (Beverly D'Angelo) takes the gun and confronts Thorp. However, at the same time the gun appears in Scrooge's hands.

Rifles/Carbines

Heckler & Koch HK416

After knocking out the guard in the guard's room, Bjorn "Gingerbread" Johannessen (André Eriksen) takes multiple Heckler & Koch HK416 rifles equipped with Aimpoint Micro T-2 red dot sights out of the gun locker, later arming some of his accomplices. "Frosty" (Can Aydin) is armed with the HK416 while searching for the enemy. In the middle of the fight, Santa Claus (David Harbour) takes the gun, but quickly loses it. Nate "Krampus" Stukas (Brendan Fletcher) and "Peppermint" (Rawleigh Clements-Willis) are also armed with the HK416 throughout the film. Santa picks up one of the dropped rifles and gives it to Linda Lightstone (Alexis Louder). Outside, Linda fires at the mercenaries and Peppermint fires back. Jimmy "Scrooge" Martinez (John Leguizamo) takes the rifle before the final battle with Santa.

Heckler & Koch HK416 - 5.56x45mm NATO

"Gingerbread" (André Eriksen) loads a rifle in the security room before the invasion begins.

"Frosty" (Can Aydin) goes down to the basement after hearing a strange noise.

During the fight, the gun falls to the floor.

Santa Claus (David Harbour) picks up the dropped gun from the floor... but the safety's on.

While the situation slowly goes awry, only "Krampus" (Brendan Fletcher) and "Peppermint" (Rawleigh Clements-Willis) are left to keep an eye on the hostages.

Most of Gertrude's Kill Squad members are armed with customized M4A1 rifles fitted with Trinity Force Atlas Keymod handguards, Magpul AFG2 grips, Aimpoint CompM4 red dot sights and weapon lights. These are the same guns built originally for The Predator and also used in Season 3 of Colony.

Many of Scrooge's mercenaries are armed with North Eastern Arms NEA-15 rifles with Aimpoint CompM4 red dot scopes and silencers. Jessica "Sugarplum" Prestwood (Stephanie Sy) loads her rifle when Björn gives the signal for action. "Tinsel" (Phong Giang) shoots the guards outside and confronts Santa, after which his gun lies on the ground. An enraged Scrooge (John Leguizamo) takes a rifle from one of his mercenaries and shoots up the Christmas tree.
