The VAHAN is an assault rifle of Soviet/Armenian origin, designed by Vahan Manasian, first in the 1950s with the MCB-2 and then following Armenia's independence in 1992, wishing to develop an Armenian indigenous rifle, albeit failing to be adopted in both occasion.
