Supernova (2000) Movie

Supernova is a science fiction movie released in 2000. Set in the early 22nd century, members of the space-bound emergency rescue and medical vessel 'Nitingale 229' receive a distress call from an abandoned mining facility in a far away distant galaxy. The young man they rescue however, along with the precious alien artifact he brings onboard, poses a serious danger to the ship and it's crew.

The first weapon appears to be a Sig P226 fitted with a futuristic laser attachment of some sorts. In the movie it doesn't appear to fire standard ammunition, but perhaps some type of case-less ammo powered by plasma energy or whatever.

The second weapon is a futuristic grappling hook/harpoon gun, fitted with a Nydar reflex sight in one scene. I presume the gun is based off an M32 grenade launcher given its inherent design.
