I have an interest in firearms that spans most of my entire life, over fifty years. I have done some private gunsmithing, repairing and restoring a few arms for myself and friends. I served in the Army National Guard in a Field Artillery Battalion where I carried an M-16A1. I was a Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Detention Transportation Officer where i carried a .357 revolver, Ruger Security Six w/ 4" bull barrel. I currently practice medieval sword combat as a hobby and have a great interest in Viking age history. My current firearm project is resurrecting a 1881 Springfield Trapdoor rifle that was cut down (almost) to carbine length. My current EDC is a Sig Saur P227.
