Trapped is a 2002 thriller starring Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend as a couple whose daughter is kidnapped for money and are held apart by their two kidnappers (Kevin Bacon and Courtney Love). The film also stars Dakota Fanning and Pruitt Taylor Vince.

Karen Jennings (Charlize Theron) gets ahold of it after she cuts Joe, she locks herself in the closet and tells him not to come in or she will shoot. Joe is later seen with the revolver.
