The Grand Budapest Hotel is a 2014 comedy-drama film directed by Wes Anderson. Framed as a flashback told in a fictional novel, the film follows Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori), a bellhop at the acclaimed Grand Budapest Hotel in the fictional European nation of Zubrowka in the year 1932. When his superior and mentor, Monsieur Gustave H. (Ralph Fiennes) is framed for the murder of a wealthy dowager, Gustave and Zero go on a journey to clear their names and acquire a priceless painting that was intended to be inherited by Gustave. The film was released to widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics, and would go on to be nominated for nine Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and winning four of them.
