|
The Female Executioner (L'exécutrice) is a 1986 French action movie directed by Michel Caputo. Martine Savignac (Brigitte Lahaie), an inspector at the Brigade des moeurs (vice squad) in Paris, investigates the trafficking of teenage girls by a certain Madame Wenders. The investigation leads Martine to conclusion that Wenders is close to the police commissioner in charge of the vice squad and gets the protection. When Martine's sister is kidnapped and killed, she turns into a vengeful vigilante.

Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 29
A Smith & Wesson Model 29 with 6" barrel is a personal handgun of Inspector Valmont (Pierre Oudrey). After Valmont's death Martine (Brigitte Lahaie) takes the revolver and uses it. In the final scene the gun briefly falls in hands of Antoine (Michel Godin).

Tough cop Valmont shows his revolver to Martine, mocking her tiny snub nose gun.
Valmont shows Martine how he disassembles and assembles back his gun with a blindfold on his eyes. It's worth noting that the cartridges definitly aren't .44 Magnum, more resembling 9 mm Par pistol ammo.
Martine brings the revolver to the gun store in order to replace the grips to fit her hand.
Martine cleans and loads the revolver. Againt the ammo is not .44 Magnum.
Martine fires at criminals who break in her house.

A nickel plated Smith & Wesson Model 36 (too bright for a stainless steel Smith & Wesson Model 60) is Martine's (Brigitte Lahaie) sidearm until she replaces it with Valmont's S&W 29.

Unidentified revolvers
Luigi (David Vergnes), one of Madame Wenders' henchmen, carries a snub nose revolver during the kidnapping of a schoolgirl. In another scene, when Luigi is arrested by Inspector Valmont, the latter takes a different revolver from Luigi.
Luigi holds a bright snub nose revolver. It may be the nickel plated S&W Model 36, like the one used by Martine, but it's hard to say for sure.
Luigi loads his revolver. In this and following scenes he has a revolver that may be an MR-73 with duty sights, like the one, used by Legrand, but again it's hard to say for sure.

Madame Wenders' son Antoine (Michel Godin) carries a nickel plated Smith & Wesson 39 with pearl grips in several scenes.

Beretta 92
In the climactic scene Madame Wenders (Dominique Erlanger) takes a Beretta 92-style pistol from the Commissioner's (Michel Modo) shoulder holster. What appears to be also a Beretta 92-style pistol is used by one of the duo of criminals when they break in Martine's house. The exact model hardly can be identified but it is definitly a pre-92F model.

In the scene on the police shooting range an air pistol of unknown model is used by Inspector Legrand (Jean-Hugues Lime) who teaches his girlfriend to shoot.

A hostess in the casino, owned by the Asian crime boss Chang Li, holds a Thompson M1921AC or M1928 with drum magazine.

In the opening scene one of the police officers on the helicopter fires an unidentified pump action shotgun. It is seen very briefly and unclear.

Several sporting rifles of unknown models are seen in the scene on the shooting range.

A gun at the background right seems to be a kind of
AR-15 - at least the handguard, the front sight and the position of the sling swivel fit quite well.
Trivia
Astra 357
On promotional images as well as on movie posters and DVD covers Martine (Brigitte Lahaie) holds a stainless Astra 357 revolver. This revolver isn't used in the movie.
