The Air Seller (Prodavetz vozdukha) is a Soviet 1968 (filmed 1967) B&W two part 1957 adventure science fiction movie directed by Vladimir Ryabtzev and based on the novel by Aleksandr Belyaev. Soviet meteorologist Viktor Klimenko (Gennadiy Nilov) investigates a weather anomaly in North Pacific. When travelling on a remote island, Klimenko and his assistant Nikolay (Aleksandr Susnin) are taken prisoners by megalomaniac businessman Bayley. Using a gigantic air-sucking device, created by genius scientist Engelbrecht, Bayley is slowly stealing the Earth's atmosphere and stores deeply frozen oxygen in underground facilities. By creating oxygen deficit, Bayley plans to becoming the master of the world. But Klimenko, together with Engelbrecht's daughter Nora and scientist Luke, finds ways to counter Bayley's hideous plans.

Luger P08
The guards in Bayley's facilities are armed with Luger P08 pistols. In one scene the security chief Williams (Gleb Strizhenov) gives his P08 to scientist Luke (Evgeniy Zharikov). Bayley (Artyom Karapetyan) is seen with a Luger in the scene in frozen oxygen storage facility. Viktor Klimenko (Gennadiy Nilov) carries a Luger, taken from a guard, in the final scene.
