Assault Rifle?

I was wondering. The Hei type in the "Ultra light" version had a replaceable magazine for 20 rounds and the ability to fire full-auto/semi-auto. And it is powered by the same ammunition as the Fedorov Avtomat. Could this variant be classified as an assault rifle for this reason? --Emto (talk) 16:05, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
